Allo I just add a new hard drive ,My partition d,where was Poser4 ,is becoming e ,so now when i load figure Poser4 can not find correct files.How can we change the drive letter in Windows 98se.Can we do it with Fdisk ,Someone knows?thanks

I feel your pain, really I do. I had exactly the same problem when I added another drive to my PC. I eventually had to re-install Poser. If anyone knows a simpler way of redirecting it to the correct drive...... Paul

heya; well, there's an old dos command, subst, you could try. you can put it in your autoexec. subst is short for substitute, and you can assign new letters. first, you'd have to change the new 'd' drive to something new, then switch your 'e' to 'd.' in fact, this could be more confusing and difficult than re-installing poser. ;) actually, the only files that are absolute instead of relative (to .../runtime/...) are the texture maps. just load your figure, find the texture maps, then re-save the figure. this also takes a lot of time, but if you don't change 'em til you use 'em, you can spread it out over... years. ;)
