I'm still very new to this but I was wondering ho I get a model from Poser to Bryce. I've tried several different exports and Bryce keeps telling me they are an "invalid format". What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes that has to do with the props in your poser scene. Convert them to OBJ format before importing them into Poser. Your props were most likely in 3ds format, am I right? Convert them to OBJ format and make sure they have UV mapping. If you're on a PC 3DWIN can be used for the conversions and Steve Cox' UVmapper can be used to add the UVs.

For the newcomers to Poser, it would be nice to let them know where to find these programs (i.e., 3DWIN and UVMapper). I have both of them, but I don't remember where I got them from, especially 3DWIN. I lost that site long ago. Melanie

They're all linked on the sidebar under Web Resources.

Actually, until I get this process down, I'm sticking to only the items that are stock in Poser. I don't want to get too intense until I know what I'm doing. You know, one of those 'baby steps' kinda things.

Steve Cox has a tutorial on the site that you can use to familiarize yourself with the concepts.
