Does anyone know if there is a program to convert from obj to 3ds. Or is maybe some author way to get my poserfigures in to 3ds Max(r4).

Poser will do it. You don't need the Pro Pack unless you want to make it easier to put a whole scene into Max.

Many programs can do this. I'll wager most of the modeling progs can, and as wyrwulf said, you can do it with Poser. Import your .obj model then export it as a .3ds model. Or you can use crossroads, found at the link provided.

how about trying the program called 3d exploration, I've got it and it works fine it can change between about 40 different formats and can even render the models as well

C1rcle, I use 3D Exploration as well, and find it reliable. One thing though is that if you are using it just with Poser and Max it would be cheaper to buy PPP, espeically after the price hike that occured after Right Hemisphere purchased it LOL! Cheers

yeah I know what you mean :( I'm just about bankrupt after buying Poser4, Bryce5, Amorphium Pro and ZBrush, I just got my annual bonus from work and it just about paid for them, but my wife is a little pissed at me for spending so much on what she calls toys.

For those who have zbrush and are interested in morphing, there is a new script that can be downloaded within the zbrush interface (zscript window palette) called the Texture Master. http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=002034 hope this helps...
