Ok, I was really just fiddling around, I kind of like this, but yet I don't. Is it just too busy?

not really 'busy' - but the yellow is perhaps a little too washy/chromelike (unless thats the effect that you were going for). try giving it a little bit of texture maybe? otherwise good work. is that from the adventurers?

I was going for a lame and wool look. Maybe if I add a bit of "noise" to the gold area.... off to try it. Yes it is for the adventurer I have an other one finished as well, just have to get it all zipped to go.

I like the texture with the yellow! Only problem is it looks like the inside of the cape could use a higher res map if thats possible. Great work though! I like that first texture better than this last one, IMHO.

oh WOW! thanks all. markdotcom, the inner part of the cloaks stretch like that if you pull the cloak out and bend it. I will see if a hegher res will take care of that. Here is a full view of the tan one. I just didn't have the patience today to make the zipped file for them so they will unzip where they need to. I hate making all those extra folders and such...

I prefer the matt look to the shiny look, but I'm sure the shiny set would be useful in some images too. If you made the reflection map bigger (as in height and width), it wouldn't repeat so much as in picture 1... if that's what you wanted to do! Good job anyway, and so you didn't take the weekend off afterall ;)

lol with April, no I didn't, although I didn't put in much time... BUT I'm taking today off to work on the mural in the bathroom. As for the black & gold, that isn't a reflection map which is why it repeats. I am going to rework the top one some more.
