I was hoping some of you had a few links where I could check out freebie chainmail textures or how to make my own. I'm trying to make a 3D version of my Asheron's Call character and now that I have a bow I want her to have Vicky's skirt in chainmail texture.

what is chainmail, if it is like for a sweater, SilverStudious has great textures for sale at Daz...hope this helped. Sharen

Sharen Chainmail is old, old style of armor consisting of wire curled into rings and then the rings joined to each other in a pattern. Several cultures throughout the years made up their own style of joining the rings. If you ever go to Renniasance/Medieval Faires you would see many people dressed in "garb." Currently, several vendors on the internet sell items like bracelets, headpieces, bras and bottoms, skirts, shirts, coifs, etc. all in chainmail. I ended up searching through these sites looking for ideas and chain patterns. You wouldn't believe what people will sell! lol
