Subject: Texture #2 Bump Map Test. :)

Hiyas again... just wanted to put up a quick pic of what I did tonight... I opted to fiddle with a bump map on the head/face rather than start the body... I think this looks pretty good... I decided to render her with more 'friendly' lighting to show off how the texture will react with other than white lighting. :) Input, as always, is appreciated.

I like the softness of the bump map. I have notice that some people make bump maps to harsh. I looks great.

I'm only applying the bump map at 25% (I think), when it's set to 100% it's like the grand canyon on her face... it was pretty bad, I laughed when I saw it... but lowering the percentage helped a lot...

Hi, Interesting face! I usually stick to 20% on the face and body, and 30% on the lips :) later jb

I should've mentioned that... I think I've got her lips set to 50% on the bump... but I think I need to add more highlight to them to make them look glossier... right now she looks like she could use some chapstick.
