I couldn't resist the Dina challenge, and the price was so good that I didn't even try too hard. She poses very well. I don't think DSI or Dan have overstated that. It appears to me that the human model scanning that was used (particularly the machine used on the model's body) tends to smooth out some details. Minor curves such as muscles and the bones of the spine are missing. Joints like the knees also seem smoothed out. In the case of the knees, they seem too smooth, and in the case of the knuckles they seem a bit knobby. I'm guessing that the machine uses some form of averaging, and that resulted in a definite lack of detail. The general shape is right, but the figure needed far more post work to restore the detail the machine missed. I'm hoping DSI will release a full body morph with more of the fine detail brought out by Dan's great modelling. The machine approach requires more human intervention. :) the figure certainly has enough polys to bring out those details, but few of us are skilled enough to create those morphs. I know I'm not. At any rate, the pic above is a quick face morph I did. The left is Dina's default and the right is with my morph. Both use the default textures. She's wearing Koz's Chignon which isn't fitted to her properly, so it looks a bit weird. I just wanted to cover up her poor bald head in a hurry. I was just trying to make her look a bit less tired and angry... an expression that ages her face considerably. Normally I don't think anything I do is even worthy of free stuff, but since there is so little Dina stuff so far, if any wants it please let me know and I'll add it to free stuff. It might be a useful starting point. The distance between the nose and mouth is still too great and the jaw too strong... but... she really is extremely flexible and easy to morph. Phoenix
