I added some new hair into my librarieshairhair types directory and it attached behind the character so I used the Z Tran to move it forward. Now all my hair sits back behind the head and doesn't move when I move the head of my figure. I don't know how to get it back to normal and it didn't happen before when I used the added hairs. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't work. HELP!

one more problem.... now the hair is attached, but it flies way high in the air, should I fix it so it looks right and then parent it again?

Just a thought here, but are you like trying to attach say Millenium Women hair to a P4 Female?
dancineyes posted Mon, 22 October 2001 at 9:05 PM
Is it the right type of hair for the character you are using? Another words, P4 Posette can't use Vicky's hair unless specified by the creator of the hair. If the hair does not fit right chances are it is because of this. Hope this helps.

Yes i'm sure, it's the default hair for the default figure that appears when you first start poser, that shows up fine. Then I delete that hair and try ANY other, I use the default Male Afro, etc. I'm kinda, well, a month new to poser so I usually keep to universal hairs and props and clothing.

Try parenting the hair to the head, then lock it down... select the hair, then go to object->lock actor That should keep it from flying of the figure's head... some pose files have settings for the hair that makes it freak out. Hope that helps. K-

If I recall correctly, the default figure isn't really a P4 figure but the P2 or 3 casual man. Try replacing him with the P4 nude male and see if you still have the same problem with the hair.
