If not already done so, in your modeling program give each wall and building element its own material. Now in UVMapper select by material and planar map (Will work by group also)

Phil! You're a sweetheart!!! But these models were made by Architect students... and were copyright free when I found them. I managed to convert them to a readable format (made sure I made both an .obj file and a S3S file). My problem is that their materials did not convert! One of the models is the operahouse in Sidney. You can imagine how many hundreds of pieces it consists of. Btw... :) there was also a model of an old Norwegian logged storehouse, - which I find "udderly" exciting, - as I am a Norwegian "stranded" in Florida. I'm working on the texture file for that one, - and plan on making it a free poser prop when I can figure this thigies out!! :) Britt

You may be able to import the .obj into your modeling software and assign matrials, and then re-save it so that you can select by matrerial. And/or you may be able to name each part and re-save it. I name my parts in Nendo then when I load the model in UVMapper I can select by group and they each have meaningful names. Don't know if you can do that in other modelers or not, but I suspect you can. jon
