It's very interesting-looking. However, a few small things: When you use blur or smudge or whatever you used to di the hair, make a duplicate layer and do it to that layer, then you can carefully erase parts of that new layer to get a crisper outline around the hair (right now it's blurry all around the hair).

maybe it's the light. when it somes from behind, it's not very interesting... try a source from his hands or color lights from those beings (then with no other light in room).

the blue-purple-white circle aound him distracts your eye from the whole of the picture(story) I believe. the colors do not fit well with the rest of the muted colors, hence the distraction.

Thanks for all these comments. I have already got rid of the bright circle, also tried a different tex on the walls which seems better. will work on the lights and then ask for further comments.
