I'm confused! :P I want to make a transparency map for some nifty hair I downloaded. I exported the hair from Poser as an .obj file and popped it into UV mapper-- but which map settings do I use? Planar, cylindrical, spherical, box? I've been looking at other transparency maps and they don't help me to figure this one out. I would be very grateful for any help you can offer! Thank you!

I don't think there is a magic bullet here. Try to select by group then go through each of the choices for each group. Hair is often multi-layered and each layer will need it's own map. It's kind of like the layers on an onion. Each onion layer would need a different map. hope that helps.

Oh ho... I see... Hm, then how will I apply the map to the different groups? Thanks for your help!
