It's almost that time of year again and I need to make an animated Xmas scene. Does anyone have a model of a toy soldier like in the Nutcracker Suite? It doesn't have to be an articulated Poser model, any kind of 3DS or DXF or OBJ will be fine. It just needs to stand there. I've looked at 3D Cafe and Props Guild but didn't find any. Thanks in advance, Ulysses

Yeah I was looking around and didn't see any. I want one too! Nutcrackers are one of my favorite holiday items. :)

DD (Dan) from PoseWorks had a posable nutcracker, but I see his downloads are temporary down.... I have tne nutcracker but the readme.txt says "By having posession of these files, you agree not to reproduce, transmit, or otherwise replicate them in part or in whole in any manner that is not a 2D image file format without the expressed permission of their author"...=( People generally don't like us to pass their files around, but you can contact him at danich@attglobal.net... I think that is still his address and ask him if he would have the nutcracker available or you could tell him you know someone (me) who has his nutcracker model and is willing to share, but only with permission.... I hope this helps.. Or one of our resident talented modelers here at Renderosity might be generous enough to build you one....=D Good luck! ^Cindy

O I forgot to upload a picture of the nutcracker in question....It might not even be what your looking for... I also I need to add, that I downloaded this nutcracker about two years ago from his site so even when his downloads come back it could be doubtful he will still have it available... Best bet is to contact him, if another one doesn't surface...
