Hi, I want to create some realistic looking fire. Coming from the mouth of a dragon, on top of a stone, that kind of stuff. Using only the materials provided with Bryce hasn't led me anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction? Any ideas? The URL for a Tutorial? Thank you.

Added the mat to a sphere, put a radial light inside

You can also add a gel to the radial light too. you have to make it a volumetric light tho.

Yup, Clay's fire is the best to date. Here it is added to a torus, elongated sphere, and a cone. Dragon's breath.

I have a tutorial up that will help you make it look more realistic (even for silly pictures like this one)...also has a bryce3 fire based on clay's fire too. http://www.brycetech.com/tutor/bryce/fire_n_ice.html BT
