i had originally started working on this character a few months back. it was to be based on my fiancee, intended to be a more realistic, dancer's physique - and included with a couple dozen dance/ballet poses and a ballet animation series choreographed by a professional dancer (her). then she left me and cleaned me out, so the project went on a backup disk and was forgotten for awhile. i have a tendency to always finish what ive started, so i loaded it back up and finished up the character. the body is a perfect reproduction, but the face was scrapped (couldnt stand looking at her anymore, lol) and i just put together an appealing fictional face. since the choreographed poses and animations fell through, im thinking of just texturing her and throwing her into freestuff (right now i just slapped a modified asia tex on her temporarily). the character is based on vicky with some of traveller's old morphs and my custom morphs thrown in and a lot of scaling. shes 5'2" (you can see this clearly when shes standing beside michael or vicky) and weighs appx. 90 lbs. so, would you folks be interested? comments, suggestions are welcome, since i can still change some things around. cheers, gabriel

hey wow... yes I'am Interesdet.. where can I get this model ?! greetings from berlin (germany) giz [gizmo@gizmo.ag]

fauve posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 8:32 PM

She looks really good, Gabriel. She reminds me of the girls in Noe's comics - very sexy and hippy. I'd definitely consider putting a few more miles on the ol' credit card for her. (Btw, I see that you are still getting some mileage out of the Texture that Dare Not Speak its Name.. :-> Excuse me, but didn't we forget some credits?)

Blackhearted posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 8:40 PM

ha! you know who can sue me. she'll have to get in line though. whats a 'noe's comic'? shes a totally accurate reproduction though - id post a pic of my ex-fiancee side-by-side to show ya, but i dunno if shed like that very much, lol, and im not about to phone her and ask - id rather not talk to her. as for the credit card - since i dont have the poses and the choreographed animations, im just going to pop her in freestuff i think. you need vicky to use her though, but vicky1 is only 19.99 now at daz3d. as soon as i finish a decent texture for her and find a host that can handle the bandwidth ill put her up. just wondering if theres sufficient interest.

fauve posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 8:52 PM

Wooooo!! Better yet, she's free! You're a dear. Noe is a brilliant European artist who draws erotic comics. Your figure reminded me of him because he often draws small-busted, curvy, long-legged women in just that type of graceful "motion" pose. Most of his stuff could get me kicked off Renderosity permanently if I posted it, but see appended, relatively tame example. I try to emulate his style occasionally in my renders, never with any real degree of success. By the way, Gabriel, I'm sure it was her loss... ;->

Thorgrim posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 9:06 PM

Yes, definately. Looks great!

Personally, I think that putting your Ex's face on would be an absolutely halarious payback for dumpimg on you. LOL I've heard of peoples posting nude photos of their Ex's on the internet...but a fully posable replicant?...Too funny of a concept for words. IMHO. I love the model BTW

Blackhearted posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 10:02 PM

yeah, then i could do an animation of me running her over with an 18-wheeler. hehe. honestly, i dont hateher or anything. what shedid really hurt me, so id just rather not talk to her ever again, and put her out of my mind.

fauve posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 10:13 PM

It wouldn't be the first time, ElectricAardvark. Have you ever seen a photo of Dan Farr, DAZ3d's president? He was the model for Mike. The resemblance is quite strong... the same big jaw, same close-set eyes, everything. I'll bet you money that the DAZ employees pass around every embarassing Mike render they can find (especially the gay ones.) Ever since I saw a photo of Dan, I just can't look at naked Michael characters without feeling weird (and a visit to Renderotica is truly a trip.) Supposedly his wife was the model for Vicki, too. And the real DinaV... yikes.

Strangechilde posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 10:30 PM

Oh yes... there's a lot you could do to your ex, and there's a lot I could do to mine, but hey, that's not very nice, is it? Personally, I respect you quite a bit for continuing your work and disassociating it from your ex. In my book, it only shows that you are stronger, and that's the best lesson my ex ever taught me. ;)

rasputina posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 10:51 PM

The character is lovely, I adore the body shape especially.

Jaager posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 10:56 PM

Nice looking character. Let me know if you want any help in getting it packaged in an efficient manner. As one who wishes what happened to you had happened to me, way back when, this was probably in your best interest, unless she is rich and you were after her money. Otherwise, you are mourning what you thought she was, not what she is. The pain is just as real, but if you had won, you could have wound up loosing, big time.

pendarian posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 11:10 PM

Lovely character, and being a petite person myself, it's nice to see a character like that come out :) The body shape is very nice. Pendy

movida posted Fri, 02 November 2001 at 11:17 PM

very nice character Blackhearted. Count your blessings, even the ones still in disguise s

leather-guy posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 1:21 AM

Despite the unfortunate associations, the figure shows uncommon grace & elegance. You did a wonderful job, & I'd love to have the character if you choose to post it! It might be easier to post with a neutral name rather than a character name as many artists seem to like. Maybe something like Petite Dancer, or Figure Nov-03, or some such?

Photopium posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 1:31 AM

This is, bar none, the finest female shape I've ever seen in a poser model. Please make her available and let me know immediately when she is, thanks! Serioiusly, she's gorgeous...her body is perfection. -WTB

Silvermermaid posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 1:33 AM

That is a nice character, I am also 5'2, so I would be interested in getting a character that is my height :) I am sorry for what happen to you, and hope you are better.

graphicnovel posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 3:06 AM

man extremely good modeling and texturing .... I'd love to have her, the model I meant... 'bout what happened, I've been trough the same after four years with one girl, now I have another and it's going down again.... And it's life, I've grown and changed, life is good, life is one day at a time, and perhaps your next one will give the value that you deserve... I know how it is so.... Well sorry boy but u ain't alone.... cheers....

stoney54 posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 3:19 AM

It looks like a great character and texture to me! One I'd love to have! You did a excellent job, Blackheart! :-)

neurocyber posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 6:10 AM

What are you gonna call this wonderful new character? I know I'll be bitting my nails waiting for her. You did a great job on her. I hope your real soul mate comes your way at the right time. :)

Xena posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 6:32 AM

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Fantastic body shaping. And hey, the ex may be gone, but you've got one FINE 3d model for your troubles :) Free or for sale, please let me know. This girl I WANT :)

ChromeTiger posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 7:44 AM

Gabriel, You've got a fine piece of work there, and you can add my name to those interested. I've also bee through a similar situation recently, so I can relate...but ya know what? We end up stronger for the experience, and we damn sure won't make the same mistakes twice, right? Well, we HOPE not to, anyway... I look forward to seeing her, in Freestuff OR Marketplace...good job!

Phantast posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 7:55 AM

Very nice work - can't wait.

Strangechilde posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 8:43 AM

O yes- I neglected to mention that YES, I would very much be interested in the character, she is lovely! And I'm only 5'3" myself. Victoria intimidates me. ;)

Bia posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 10:40 AM

okay...I am 5'2" and I love her body. I have a "curvy" body and so I like this shape more than the twiggy bodies. I like the smaller breasts (wish I could reduce mine! But, I have lost 15 pounds and once I lose 10 more, they should be a bit smaller LOL!) My husband of 10 years (but living with me for 16) just split, after having a few bouts with substance abuse and just plain going nuts. I am so confused right now that I don't know what to do anymore. Can't create anything at all, so I live vicariously through you guys for now. I hope my energy comes back but it's been draining emotionally and I am exhausted from it...so, I understand your grief and anger and whatever else it is that you are feeling. Hang in there. :)

Ironbear posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 12:29 PM

Nice work. ;] Definately be interested... when does she go up for download? Oh, and how big is the zipped file? I might be able to help you find someone to host her... I know someone I could ask to put her up for me anyway. Long as the file isn't too huge.

Blackhearted posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 12:30 PM

heres the finished character - now i just have to texture it, since i dont want to use the photos that i took of my ex for the original texture maps (want to avoid possible legal problems) :( and i just moved 500km south to windsor a few days ago... now all i have to do is pick up an american girl this weekend (they flock across cause the drinking age is only 19 here) AND convince her to pose nude right away for a 'texture map for a 3d model'. lol, im sure she'll buy it :) ...this may take awhile

Bia posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 12:37 PM

oh too bad...why not just alter this texture slightly...like add some more freckles and an optional tattoo or something and then... it's not her? You didn't use her face so that's not an issue. You could just alter the finger prints a bit! I think the texture is absolutely great and that you should use it in some form. :)

Blackhearted posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 12:49 PM

nonono - the texture i used in the pics above is the infamous renderosity marketplace texture that i dare not mention by name (if you have any doubt as to which one it is, read the 200 post long debates over it in the C&D forum, or ask ironbear :) the texture that i made is very different - my ex is pale as a marshmallow, hehe :) its the scottish blood. im just going to re-texture the whole damned thing - i dont want to use the original texture partly because of possible legal problems and partly for the same reason that i changed the face. ill get the material, but it may take a little while.

Ironbear posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 12:58 PM

No no no no.... I am NOT going anywhere near that one, BlackHearted. ;]pppppppppppppp Once was enough for THAT "debate", thank yew. ;]

Chailynne posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 2:36 PM

You could post her without a texture. I'd think many of us will probably slap whatever texture on her anyway. ;) I think she looks great!

otaku posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 4:51 PM

I agree with chailynne, release her without the texture. 2 reasons ... 1) smaller download size 2) i have too many textures to keep track of and I only really use 4-5 skin textures on my characters Most people seem to be really excited about her body shape and facial features and you can always release the texture later as an update or extra freebie.

rwilliams posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 5:20 PM

I very much would like that character. She is very fine work! Please let us know when and where you post her. Giving her for free is truely generous! Thanks!!!!!!!!

rasputina posted Sat, 03 November 2001 at 7:27 PM

I like the new picture without textures as well, this figure is truly amazing, I'm also small, while I dig Vicky's obscene Stacy Keibler-esque legs, your figure has a knockout figure. :)

Shademaster posted Wed, 19 June 2002 at 11:55 AM

Yes, her body shape is very nice indeed, this character doesn't look like a pornstar or a Barbie doll. More like a real girl with gorgious hips and natural breasts. It would be fantastic if you could post this character for free. If you need web-space for her just ask me, I got 1 or 2 megs left...

Blackhearted posted Wed, 19 June 2002 at 11:58 AM

;) dude this thread is from like last november, hehe. shes up in freestuff - do a search for angelyna. and thank you for the offer to host her, its appreciated. cheers, -gabriel
