I've done a little more work on the texture since I posted last time. I did some shading on the stomach to make it look a little less 2d. I think it still needs some at the top. I'm also looking for opinions on what else would make it look good (I.e. more lights, more metal plates, less metal plates etc) . I've been told that I can't sell this texture as a whole when it's finished because I used the Daz3d High-Res textures as a template. But I can sell you the layers from PhotoShop. But this creates another problem...what about the overlaying skin? I would have to make multiple files to go with different skin tones etc. If anyone has any other ideas on how to approach this, please post your thoughts. Also, I've been woundering: Am I crazy to think people would buy this? I mean, I've never sold anything on the Market, and I don't see many things like this on there...I donno if it would sell or not. I could really use some pointers for posting stuff on the Market and if the quality of my stuff is Market material...or free stuff material. Lol. All I can say is that I think I like it, and I'm putting a lot of effort into it. Thanks for all the feedback!

looking good. i think the overlaying skin textures can be adjusted in photoshop pretty easily - if you provide someone with the layers, they can just play with the saturation, color balance, hue, brightness, etc to get it to match. however, i dont think everyone has phhotoshop nor the skill to do it. i dont know an easier way.. :(

What about using another texture as a base? Didn't Dmentia release a texture that you could use in commercial products? Just an idea. You could rework it to work with that skin tone, or change her base to match. I agree, not everyone uses photoshop, or would want to have to do the work to make it match on an item they purchased. Another option is to get the full Poser4U (Renderocity) membership that allows you to use the textures with no commercial restrictions. Just a thought.
