To avoid the mess I made with packaging P4Vskin, I'd appreciate just 3 testers to do the following before I make it generally available: Tester 1. unpack zip for PC, decode the pcf files and see if it loads okay in poser. Tester 2. do the same for mac Tester 3. owns Michael and can upload renders in this thread of my Michael texture included in the zip, using my mat pose. Please reply if you can perform any of these for me, if I get any replies I'll just pick the first three. :) Thanks muchly.

April, Here's the first render, face shot... well... you can see what happened... the *good* news though is that the .pcf files decoded, and P4MSkin works fine, I even applied other Michael textures to it, and it seemed just fine. Body shots to follow. BTW - The skin texture does look *really* nice.

Nice tattoo... the area around the belly button is a little off, but it doesn't look *bad*, especially considering you didn't have the model to work from.

Subtle Advertising too... (for those of you who aren't April that looks at this, look at the back of his head).

I didn't want to do an "up close and personal" but if anyone needs/wants to see it, just let me know.

There's a bit of a seam from the front to back, but no big deal... I don't know if the fingernails are supposed to look like this or not though...

wow that was quick... ok, i have the transparency settings wrong on the eyeballs and the eyebrows? icks! i have them set correctly on the props, so i'll just copy them... i hope. thanks Cin! by the way i have a mac victim, Laetia kindly volunteered :)

I wanted to show the teeth, tongue, and inside mouth... I wonder if his mother ever told him his face would freeze like that...

that's how the eyes are supposed to look... i guess i'll take apart someone else's michael mat file and check it out.

Once I set the "eyeball" material to 100% transparent, that fixed the eyes... the eyebrow settings are right, it's just that the "eyebrow" material settings is really the skin area on the head below the "upper eyebrows", I turned the texture off of the "eyebrow" material so you can see what I mean.

This is a really nice texture though, and if nothing else, makes the whole thing worth while.

re eyebrow, i see... i think. i was asking about that in snowsultan's seam guide thread. i must have misunderstood - he works the same as vicky afterall. :) Thanks Cin!!! since you like the tex i'll show ya how i did the lips for example, fairly easy but i gotta open up ps to remember. so will post bout it later tonight. :)

Yep, I just wanted to see renders of my included Michael textures. I won't see them on Michael myself for a long time cos I don't have plans on buying him soon. BTW, Laetia has IM'd me to say it unpacks and decoded in Mac alright! So I'll fix the pz2 or just delete it, and reupload for freebies... hmm, actually, i think i have to fix the material assignment in uvmapper. Oh well, later tonight, i have house chores and then dinner to think about. Ghost, by the way, P4Vskin for mac is okay now. :) hey... what time do you people sleep???

I'm not impatient, but I can't wait to get my hands on him :) I've been d/l'ing all the michael textures I can find since you released P4Vskin and said you were starting work on Michael, I don't have Michael and can't afford himeither, so this will be the best replacement for him. So Pretty please can we have him soon

See, look how happy he is to have eyebrows! This is the updated MAT pose, and it works just fine. I'll put up another straight on face shot to show it off better too.

Oh, BTW this is a different lighting scheme from the previous posts... before I was using Anton's "Daylight" with no shadows, per soulhuntre's texture test light parameters... this is one of my own light set ups that makes a nice warm light.

I was hoping to see a P4Mskin... there are so many terrific Michael textures out there, and hardly any for the poor P4 guy. This ought to level the playing field some. -nemo

No pro'lem. I wouldn't be surprised if people used your texture on the actual Michael, it's pretty good.

thanks cin, still gotta chat about "handpainting", prolly in your body thread. c1rcle and fauve, me too, now i have to download michael textures as well! i hope there are lots of freebies. that shaman one looks really good but it's a huge download (started and stopped it!) so i'll wait and set it overnight. i downloaded franco snr ages ago and that one's really nice, just missing a body. barely scratched the surface in michael freestuff :) i just got vicky1 thanks to contest gift certificates and will spend a lot of time downloading freebies for her! will set my modem to burn out while i convert my p4 textures to vicky. i love her lashes! icky head but lots of morphs out there already (why the heck would people pay for vicky2???) btw, the reason i don't buy stuff is cos i can see it can be expensive for a mere hobbyist, and the app itself cost enough. i already feel guilty about $s on bryce and painter that hardly get used. photoshop is my staple and i don't regret the $ on that or my wacom :)
