Subject: Britain remembered the USA

at 11:00 hrs this morning GMT. Our traditional time of remembering the dead from both world wars. Today WTC was included. Thought you mighjt like to know.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."

that was a great gesture, but also for the first time in british history, the american national anthem was played at buckingham palace to the changing of the gaurds ceremony,did everyone remember to buy a poppy? my thopughts to all who have suffered dean (kumo)

The UK, and especially Great Britain, have turned out to be our most steadfast allies througout the last century....as an American I am grateful to all our friends there..... Krel
