Hello everyone! Some of you know me, some of you don't, but a lot of you have seen my art. Well, I've been working on a project for some time, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to get it off the ground and running optimally by myself. So, I figured, why not see if some of the Renderosity folks might like to get involved, and have some fun? Here's the details: For some time now, I've been reworking my website, Nexus, to include the world of digital art as well as its other arenas. To this end, I have been developing a series of online comics. Characters have been developed, scripts are being written, and preliminary test art is being done (see link). However, I'm not going to be able to turn out these stories in any kind of viable timeframe working primarily alone. So, I'm inviting folks to get involved, and help make these stories a reality. Will ya get paid? Nope, none of us will make a dime. Will we get famous? Probably not, but hey, one never knows. Will we have fun? Well, I sure hope so, and we'll be creating some kick-ass stories, to boot. What I'm going to need is a variety of folks who can put in a little of thier spare time to create panels, based on the scripts I have written. There may also be some construction of custom props, as well. Working knowledge of Poser is a must, and the more add-on stuff you've got, the more help you can be (for example, most of the characters are based on Victoria 2 and Michael, so having those means you can place characters, as well). Ideally, I'd like a team of dedicated artists, though one-shot contributors would of course be welcomed. Everyone who contributes to a given issue will of course be fully credited in said issue, just like any print comic. So, interested? You can reply here, or to my email at chrometgr@telefragged.com ...just give me a little background as to what you excel at, where you'd like to help, and roughly how much free time you can spare. Perhaps together, we can make online comic history. As the Master of Marvel Comics Stan Lee would say: 'Nuff said!' Hope to hear from a lot of ya! David 'ChromeTiger' Hebbe

I'd love to take up the challenge but I don't think I'm good enough yet, Good luck with the project, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Sure... I'm In. I have been looking for something to expand my experience and I know some folks who do comics anyway. We are working on a Digital Comic of our own and this way maybe we can help each other learn this stuff :)

Not sure what i can do...textures? painting? Writing? I can do any of those things...I don't make models yet...but I will be taking an intensive course in 3dsMax next year in New York City, so maybe after that I can help with some model building! Just let me know. Bia@charm.net http://www.charm.net/~huribead/
