Could I import a obj poser model into bryce.. tetxure it then export it back into poser. And is using a drawing as a greyscale and putting it into the terrian editor easer to model than boolean.

no, you cant texture an obj in bryce and get the textures to poser.only with terrains it works.The only possibility is to apply the texture in bryce to a plane,render the plane,save the image and use the image for the texturetemplate you get when you run your obj through uvmapper.

Second question: yes and no...if you have a 2D program you're comfortable with you can make some fairly complex items in the terrain editor (Wappen's models come to mind). Both methods are useful, as are mixing the two.
