You prolly need to re-download and install japanese text support. I found that when I crashed like that, I had to reinstall everything

I always cancel the download of the japanese text support when this window pops up on japanese sites. I get these squares instead of letters where the text is on that sites but that never affected my pc or causes any problems. I think you have other problems with your computer.

Try reinstalling your browser. Sounds like that's probably your culprit ;). Laurie

I had a similar problem that was corrected just by deleting all of the "temporary internet files" under the tools tab in IE. I had a similar problem when my browser locked up after a failed payment of a subscription to a 3D site that had a payment via a southeast asia company. Mick

I've just learned a bug in the new IE6 can do that on some systems some times. The good new is the latest update for it will fix it. That is if your using IE6. Good luck. :) :) :)

The only site I'm having problems with is the BAT lab. I can access all the others but when I try to go to BAT's page I get a message telling me I'm not authorized to view it. Could it be my settings? I remember I could access it when I had IE5. I'm running IE6 and it's crashing badly. Can anyone else access BAT's site?

Too bad about BAT lab. I, too, would also like to know how to become a member. Back to the browser issue, neurocyber, I went to the Microsoft site but didn't find any service pack for IE6. Do you have a url handy by any chance?
