I'm an experienced Lightwave user just looking into Poser. Haven't bought it yet, but have read a lot of posts here to begin getting a feel for what I'll be in for if and when I do. All the models seem to be sexy, realistic humans... was wondering if anyone has specialized in more comical, unrealistic characters. Like elves, Santa, for example. Had a project for which I could use them if they are available, and would make a good starting point for me to use Poser. Most of the work I do would not call for any degree of realism, and more humor than sexiness.

you should go to DAZ3d at www.daz3d.com take a look at their inventory...also look at the santa's elves package by MAB there.

I have to agree with Lorraine, the Holiday Elves by MAB at Daz3d are great and also MAB has a free Santa for Download at http://www.mabgraphics.com

Thanks, everybody. What a fun thing to have all these characters already created and available for purchase. I started using computers and animation programs when they were new and buggy and no such things existed! This is cool.
