Well, many people noticed me that the front page loads really slow because the JPEG files were to big, so I made a new page, but I have no way to check what is faster (because I have these files on my computer already) so, if anyone could help and check the difference between two pages, I will be very thankful :-) The new page is on the attached link the old page is this: http://digilander.iol.it/zoozi/oldindex.htmlbounlua posted Tue, 20 November 2001 at 11:41 AM
For me they come up at about the same speed, but i do have ADSL so it is hard to tell since everything downloads pretty fast for me but they both downloaded in about equal amount of time.

The new page loaded in 22 seconds over a 56k modem. The old one took about 5-10 seconds longer. - JimX

no one ask me what my site's name means, is that because everybody already know the answer? :-) (I live in Israel, so I don't know what people here learned on literature class:-) )

Your page loaded so quickly I didn't have time to time it! I do have a cable modem.

I'm on a 56k modem that thinks it's a 2k modem these days and the old page was so slow I never got past it before, I'll have to return when I have more time and have a rummage through your spoils, so who/what was Annwn then?
zoozI2000 posted Tue, 20 November 2001 at 8:20 PM
that is taken from "The book of Taliesin" (writen at the the fourteenth-century) Annwn is the welsh underworld, and the poem tells about king arthur and his mate, who explore countries, in a wish to restore the black cauldron. (to baldly go where no man has gone before, hmmm..:-)

Some of us have several feet of books on the Arthurian mythos. I prefer the early sources (Welsh triads, etc.) to the contemporary pillaging of anything Celtic. Anyway, the site loads in seconds on a 56K modem. If people can't wait a minute they are perhaps too impatient to appreciate good art anyway? Carolly

me too, about the erlier sources. I love anything celic: myths, music, art. I even wrote several articles about celtic mythology, but not in english. :-)
