Here's the result of some experiments I ded this morning with my scanner using it as a camera.

tres cool man. Scanner has good focus fod 3d objects, not many do.

Oh, now this I can really get into. Can you explain this process, how did you get those lines and ripples...

First I tryed a few positions (!) on top of the scanner with my head being still, then I decided to move my face while the scanner was working but I was getting some distortion on the face texture until this last one. The effect on the neck was made first by pixelating with stronger vertical lines, then I applyed a plastic effect and finally I selected small parts of it and added a dabble and the ripple effect. I also used a sphere effect on the chin to open the lines and give it some depth.Hope this helps! 8)

Well Alpha, I'm a great fan of the corel photopaint, I guess I am really familiarized with most of it's features since most of my last 60 pieces were created with this great program. I mentioned the word effects beacuse that's the word photopaint uses for filters (photoshop). Sometimes I start projects with other programs but I always end up using photopaint for all the last and important details.

Here's the hole secuence. Did you notice I'm sick of this 3 week beard? Tomorrow I might be shaving half of that beard and make one last scanner experiment. hope you don't mind about the little banners I've been posting, I just wanted to try them...
