The tentacles could use more "parts", as it were, as the two youre now using are fairly obvious. I suppose it all depends on how youre using the character, but if I were, Id want the tentacles to have more flexibility than whats shown now.

What happens when this guy sneezes? Brains all over the place?

you hear indiana jones ;o) anzan, i like him (she? it? hey, lift your tentacle)! if you give him those octopuss-"8" irises he could look real scary!

I'll probably move the tentacles a bit more actively as I get closer to being finished. RIght now I'm just trying to get the basic parts there and the texture... :grins: I don't even want to THINK about the clothing.. The ones on him now are just there temporarily. :grins: that's a pretty good idea Aleks.. I'm doing a particular type of creature.. and that wouldn't be in keeping with it... but thats not a bad idea for it later :grins:

it reminds of a description of Cthullhu from an H.P Lovecraft story all it needs is the wings now. very good, can we have one when it's finished?

That's pretty cool... my question though is, is this something that's going to be released? I can think of oodles of pictures I could use something like this for...

Awwwww, wookit his widdle tentacles! Awwwww! I think he could use a bit more texture on the green parts of the tentacles... they look way too smooth and bright. Just for texture, I would perhaps absract the green bits to a new Photoshop layer and apply a bit of noise with a very dark, almost black, green in front and a lighter green at the back, and then apply Gaussian noise at about 4 pixles... just to give them that 'sticky' look. :) I think he's great! Post some pictures when he's all finished, will you please?

Now that you've revealed Cthulhu's visage, you can expect a visit from the Old Ones later on tonite :8-O

ah well... I need some of that old shoggoth lovin' :grins: unfortunately it's not something I could release.. I'm using morphs from all over and zygote's creature pack for the tentacles... :grins: I don't even have the software to create like that.. if I could though.. I'd be happy too. :grins: I am releasing a fantasy character pack soon, however.. a orc, dwarf, some elves and a creature called a githzerai for Mike, vik 1, vik 2 and mega mike. Anz
