Ok, silly question. What preset are you using in the Sketch Designer? Is it a preset or your own? If it's your own, could we have it? :) This one is nice too and with the right texture maps it could really turn out horrific.

p.s. davo, are these creatures available for download anywhere? or we need to wait for them to be finished. I'm sure you are going to give us them...otherwise I think I may curl up and die somewhere SewerRat

Thanks for the great relpies guys. 1. I have a modified sketch preset and will be happy to post it, I just don't know how to do it yet, do I send it to poser "free stuff" and say something like "sketch settings for creatures"? 2. I'll have to check around for how to market these, don't worry, I figure I'll have 10 creatures including the ones you have seen for around 20-25 dollars. As far as marketing them, I'm not sure how to go about it. I have a CD burner at home and figured I'll burn them as people buy them. 3. I just want to tell you guys, these figure aren't real high-tech. They are posable, but not on a level like Zygote, and far as texture mapping, well, I just applied simple cylindrical UV coordinates to whole figure in supermapper, (which I'm gonna ask permission to put on my CD), and added a small "mottled" texture to the entire figure If you want to modify these, add new texture coordinates or anything like that you are welcome, I don't know exactly how to do all that. That is one reason I'm letting these go fairly cheap. Davo

This is confusing, tell you what, if you want my sketch settings, just e-mail me at: davo@aa.net or davids@esmcivil.com (or both actually) and I'll send it straight to you, very small file. Glad you liked the sketch. Davo

Actually I was looking into bbay.com, they have the ability to download, I haven't made plans on marketing these yet. The average creature is 2.5 to 4 megs, I know that they zip down fairly well. The CD will offer more than just the finished poser file, it will have the original obj file and pre-created creature if you wish to modify. Don't worry SewerRat, I'm keeping these cheap as possible. Davo, ps, is being called a sewerRat better or worse than ratbag? just a joke, no offence meant:)

cheap is good =) so far I've never bought any posable models, saving purely for software....life on a budget =/ but these ones I'm looking forward to =) SewerRat...well actually my nickname on the computer has been Azrael for about five years, to the extent that my nickname in real life is now Az, SewerRat is a form of social commentary about how most people on the internet act, constantly fighting and arguing with each other. That seems to happen everywhere on the 'net, this forum being the only notable exception =) So when the username Azrael was taken for this forum, that just became my chosen name =) (way more deep and meaningful than you expected 'eh? and yet still very trivial) SewerRat
