I'm a newbie and I'm trying to use the Victoria Femina remap. I have the UVmapper 0.25e, I follow the instructions (load the BlMilWom.obj, import the UVs, save the .obj with a new name, edit the Cr2) but no figure loads. What can be the problem? Could someone tell me exactly, with as much detail as possible, what you have to do? I will thank very much any help

As a test, try to import your new .obj file into Poser using File/import as if it were a prop. If it has come out of UVmapper correctly, you should see the figure and the correct materials, but you won't be able to pose it because the figure is effectively a prop. If you still can't see it, something went wrong with the UVmapper export. If you can see it (most likely case) the problem lies in how you edited the .cr2. Check that you specified the path correctly.

I am able to import the new obj correctly, with new material pubic area and all. Still when I check the cr2 I can't see what may be wrong. The path is corrrect as far as I can see. I edited the cr2 with Cr2Editor. May this be the cause?

There are two occurences of the object referencing in the cr2. Did you make sure to change both of them to point to the new obj? Sometimes if you change only one this may happen.

Which version of CR2 Editor do you have? There is one with a bug. It reversed the two lines in the Geometry handler section. Open up your original and revised CR2's in a plain text editor and see if this is the case.
I forget which version had the error, I think it was 1.51. I know JeffH can point you to an up to date correct file if you are unable to find it. For myself I use version 1.40

Version 1.52 has the bug. Version 1.51 is available in the files section of the PoserTech Yahoo group. You have to join to get to the files section. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PoserTECHPhantast posted Sat, 24 November 2001 at 10:07 AM
Any decent text editor (i.e. not Notepad) is enough to do simple edits on cr2 files.
