I've recently been making an animation of a country scene and needed a woodland. There are many superb trees available on the net, but all appear to have relatively complex meshes resulting in high file sizes and slow rendering times... this becomes significant when wanting, say, 20 trees, and a 25 fps animation.

The solution was to make my own.. and the fences, broken branches, and horizon hills. If you'd like them, here they are...

Very generous! Thank you.

Yes, thanks for your generosity. Unfortunately Tripod seems to be rather problematic with downloads. I tried clicking a few times, even disabled my firewall to no avail. I think sometimes Tripod gets a bit too much traffic and just disables the downloads for awhile. I'll try later tonight maybe.

Hope I've fixed the download problem by creating an alternative temporary mirror download site.

Hope all is OK now, and thanks for all the feedback.

OK, I give up. Where is the alternate temporary mirror? All I see is the original link, and files that can't be downloaded. Hey, I'm not griping at you... I know how hard it is to find a free web site host that lets you have downloads. I've been doing web sites for 5 years, and Tripod was my favorite free website host initially. Heck, I even paid them a small fee to get rid of their ads. But I gave them up years ago because of problems... and they don't seem to have improved.
