Just thought you might like to see what was child photography in the 1860's. A tintype of my Grandfather. The detail under a loupe is excellent.

The original is 2.3 in x 3.3 in. Scanned at 150 dpi and shown at 72 dpi. The loupe shows lace and beadwork on the collar. I am making files of this sort of family heirloom pictures. You never can tell who might take an interest.
