When I was searching for the "capture" picture yesterday I came over this one, - that I also shot in the Louvre in May this year. I guess the "copy cat" can't manage to make an identical form, - after all Mr. da Vinci WAS the maestro. :) But at least is's very close to be identical? Britt

I'm not sure if this fits with the general theme of the challenge this month. This month's challenge is simple repeating shapes. the square shapes of the paintings themselves are valid, but I don't think the square shape of the paintings is what you want us to look at. In the end, I guess its up to the mods to say if its valid or not, but me thinks you may wanna take a look at some of the entries already posted at the contest site (click the contest link on the side bar menu of the site, and you'll see the photo contests. There are entries in the intermediate and advanced sections so far as of yesterday, but check the beginner gallery as well) so's you might see what others have interpreted the contest rules to say. Keep'em coming though, and welcome to the forum Britt!

Every artist is a thief. ...this is, like Slonkester said, bit far from this months theme. Its nice pic still, and you're welcome to the group. .n

:) I kinda didn't think it would fit, Slynky. And thanks for pointing me to the right direction. I've been over there, - and posted one that might fit the intentions of the contest better. Britt

What is however, "great" about this, is the thought about repeating......and what a twist on it.....This is wonderful to see, and a site to behold in itself. Thanks for sharing. Syyd
