Welcome to the new vision...... You got to tell us all the details. How long to install? How long to your first crash? And of course post a picture of your new child.

I just got done installing the new 4.03, which I know you may not want to do that right away, I was nervous about it, but Varien convinced me that it would be okay, and I did it last night, he was right again, it works wonderfully. Sharen

Hmmmm...Laurie...I thought you mentioned you were a beta tester for Vue 4...didn't e-on give you a copy for your hard work?...well at least at a discount half price.

Gather you're pleased it's finally arrived Laurie? After having tried it [I presume you have by now] are you still pleased?

LaurieA posted Wed, 28 November 2001 at 9:11 PM

It's working so far, and I even installed the 4.03 update (since Varian gave it the green light and all ;)). Even imported a .pz3 with no problem. I have to try it again tho to see if it asks for for poser.exe again, but at least it imported the file :). Laurie

Well, Laurie, I still think it sucks that you beta tested Vue 4 but still had to wait 'til you could buy it to use the program. :( Unless you're into animation, don't worry about 4.03 problems; If you are, well, then.....

LaurieA posted Wed, 28 November 2001 at 10:27 PM

Hehehe...I'm not into animation at all Mike :). And so far, it runs like a dream! No problems with the poser.exe right from the get-go. They musta fixed that... I don't know if it's because of Windows XP or because of the Vue 4 update or both, but it's been running like a champ! I've been PURPOSELY doing things that I know always choked Vue before (like my tendency to fly around in the material editor ;)). No problems yet. Laurie

huge grin Well Laurie, I'm glad to see you're taking this transition calmly and sedately. And yes, we're all looking forward to seeing what you'll be doing with 4. :) and... *** Hip Hip HOOOORAAYYYYYY!!! ***

WEll, I'm so glad Laurie.. I mean, this has defintiely taken far longer to get than any other program I've seen anybody buy... and yeah, being a beta tester, you should have gotten something... I mean, i've been beta tester for music software and have gotten it free...
