The trial version does not allow saving or publishing of avatars, so when you are ready to unlock those features, you'll simply purchase Avatar Lab from our online store and register your new serial number. Once you have the serial number registered, the trial version will unlock and become the full working version. You will not need to download the installer again.

I downloaded the Avatar Lab Demo and it keeps crashing before it even opens under Virtual PC 4.0 running Windows 98.
