That's called WAREZ... and illegal. Unless, of course, you're referring to where you can buy it online... in which case go to Curious Lab's website, the link above.Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Hawkeyetoo, Poser is a commercial product that you have to buy, not a free download. Go to the Curious Labs website to get the details on how to get it. Also, a while back, earlier this year, 3D World Magazine had a free copy of Poser 3 on their cover CD. You might be able to get a back issue of that. Many 3D programs are free, such as Blender, Strata, sPatch, Terragen, etc., but Poser isn't a freeware or shareware program. However, it's well worth the cost, so you might seriously consider buying it if you're interested in it. Melanieshadowcat posted Thu, 29 November 2001 at 8:25 PM
not to mention that version 5 isn't even out yet

True. You might play with the demo and wait until 5 comes out. Melanie

Hi Folks! As you can seem hawkeyetwo, we're giving you the benefit of the doubt. If you can provide documentation that you are a student, faculty member, or staff person at a school or college, you are eligible for academic discounts from most retail or catalog software vendors. The savings from purchases made this way--including on Poser--can often be as much as 50%. Remember, hawk: the continuing support by Curious Labs for Renderosity depends upon the support of the members for a zero tolerance policy regarding the sale, distribution, and promotion or warez. Poser 5 is going to be serialised, it's going tobe released in weekly 1k segments, total download size 3Gb you have to make sure you get the lot as each part will only be up for that week, shouldn't take more than about a thousand years to download it, damn sqwarez people
Strangechilde posted Fri, 30 November 2001 at 1:15 PM
Surely that won't be the only way to get Poser 5? Surely they'll be selling it on CD as well? That would be so dreadfully annoying!

VirtualSite Dude! Ya messed up. You mean POSETTE 2's right finger, third section. Vicky is a product of DAZ and not Curious Labs. :)
