I keep looking at the DAZ Knight. My mouse keeps moving over the buy button, but then I take one more look at his face and decide to wait. Is there a way to do a head transplant on the knight? I would like to use Michael's head and textures instead. Also, does anyone know of any other textures for the knight? Thanks! Peggy

Personally I'd say no. With all due respect to DAZ the knight is a relatively old model by current standards. In all honesty if you're looking at spending money on something like that it's worth trolling through the store to take a look at the armour and period clothing that's been made for dork and Michael, and making your own knight. There are ample weapons and helmets available in freestuff, some of the nicest ones are from Willjen. There's some great armour in the store and a very very few pieces in freestuff. Just a thought.

The knight is a great model for background fight scenes though since it is one piece and won't choke machines and all while Michael with prop and prop and prop would ... There are also a number of props that come with it. It is an older dork based model but a lot can still be done wth him.

The Daz/Zygote Knight can use the morphs for the P4 dude... but aside from that.. I'm afraid not, easily,.. as the armour and clothing are integral to the figure, and it has it's own template... however, as Ghost said.. it makes a great background figure.. and with a little work even a decent foreground figure.. Cheers

Strong blade (here) is really nice. I was absolutely blown away. One of the best things I've ever bought. As for Daz's.. well.. it uses p4 dork... :sighs; I played with him a little today.. after using michael it seems pathetic.. I remember when I first used poser and how cool p4 dork was.... ah.. them were the days :grins:

Although Daz stuff is exceptional, their knight (respectfully) needs a makeover ;)Strong Blade is definitely an excellent choice!

I have the impression that the DAZ knight is given away for free by its creator. I'm not sure but it's worth checking it out. I'll search for the link for you. Trader2h

And while youre at it, check Poserworlds armour (in the subscription section; youll need to meander through the subscription preview pages to find an image). Gorgeous stuff, designed for the P4, but I wouldnt let that stop you from using it.

Thanks all for the recommendations. I have the MCFS, Lordswarrior, and the Poserworld Knight. I also found a set of armor by roshigoth. They are great! I'm looking for a lighter type armor, more along the Rogue Costume Pack here at Renderosity (I plan on getting this too), but more of a chain mail with cloth over it. Strong Blade is another item I have been looking at, but again, it is a heavier armor then what I had in mind. I did a search in the gallery and came across a few pictures that were in line with what I was looking for. Has anyone seen a character called Sir Bowen? I beleive the artist is Vethril, I also saw the KZ Knight by LoboUK. I searched, but could not find either of these. Thanks all for the help! Peggy

You might want to check out Jon Malis' work. He is at Posergamers, and 3d-cc hosts his free stuff. Carolly
