I think Anthony has been busy getting Avatar Lab out the door. As far as we've heard, the CR2 guide is still in the works - hope we'll see it soon.

You can get a good Cr2 guide, called "CR2 Autopsy", by Kattman at http://www.anyworldgrafiks.com/shar3d/ in the tutorials section.Nosfiratu posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 10:00 PM
If you need to reach me, please email me at anthony@curiouslabs.com. I'm not always on the forum and it was chance I happened to get this far. The Poser File Format manual is in draft form (draft 6 being the latest). It needs the PZ3 chapter wrapped up and a solid edit/review pass. Unfortunately, the huge software piracy problem diverted me for several months, preventing me from completing it when I had originally planned. Then, of course, other projects came along that I've been busy with. At this point, the File Format Manual is going to have to wait until after our next major release. In the meantime, I will continue distributing draft copies to anyone who asks. And no, please don't ask me any questions about what Curious Labs is up to as I am unable to answer them. :-) Anthony Hernandez Documentation Manager Curious Labs

errr... Anthony, I won't ask you what Curious Labs is up to, what I will ask is what time frame might there be before you get back to the guide? ... Okay, I gave it a shot...

Sorry. If I told you that, then one could infer lots of other things.
gryffnn posted Mon, 03 December 2001 at 5:02 PM
Hey Anthony, are you inferring we need actual data to draw conclusions? What's the fun in that? :)
Nosfiratu posted Mon, 03 December 2001 at 5:04 PM
OK, fine... Curious Labs is working on something that will be ready sometime and will be able to perform various tasks, as well as having more features and cool stuff than the last time we worked on something.

Wow, Oh WOW, Cool! I can hardly contain my excitment. (Tsk, you sure break easily, but we promise we won't tell Kupa where we found out.) Is it going to be compatible with something important? And not cost more than the other thing?
Nosfiratu posted Mon, 03 December 2001 at 6:06 PM
It will be fully compatible with several important things and will be an amazing bargain for what you get. After all, what else offers you something that includes so many other things?

Anthony, I cannot in good conscience lead you to reveal any more of this juicy insider information. However, do have Kupa crack the whip and remind all your dear folks there that we have people here who are still a little blue around the gills from holding their breath until you released ProPack. (Oh, alright, no whining - everybody there should have nice holidays, too!)
