I was reading the interview with Anton Kiesel and came across his discussion of some of his modeling tricks. Specifically the Repetitive Geometry modeling. I guess I'm just dense but it had never occured to me to use Poser in the modeling process like this. Very cool stuff. I made the plume in this pic using this process. I should have made the first feather a lower polygon count as it got to be a rather large file. The whole plume weighed in at a heafty 16 mb. I may redo the plume to get a smaller file size. So what do you think? And thanks again Anton for the idea. :)

I'm going to put it up in free stuff as soon as I manage to get the file size down a smidge. Thanks

Well its up in free stuff. I did the plume over with a a lot lower polycount and managed to get the final zip down from 5 mb to 800 K. Anyhow, thanks Sharen and benz for the kind words. Hope you enjoy.
