Oddly enough, this was one of the original purposes of Poser: to provide reference models for sketching or drawing, replacing reference photos and books. I just found a really old advertisement for Fractal Design Poser (back when it only existed on the Mac) in my archives. Oh, the memories ....

Don't me get wrong I still very much love 3d, But I find 3d a little restricting, you must buiold and render everything and that is a time consuming process in a modeler program. But if you can draw it, that saves tons of time, Not as virtual as 3d but then again it does have more of you in it then the computer. Mixing and blending the 2 is fun too.
