John and I gave eachother a roundtrip in Europe last Christmas. We went over in May, - Hmm... what's that about Paris in the springtime? ;) Anyhow, - we did more than that we drove Paris, - Brussels, - Amsterdam, Edam, the Moselle, - Reims, and back to Paris. I'm not sure WHY I insisted on going to Reims. Of course it's smack in the middle of the Champagne area. :), - but I felt that I "had" to see the cathedral of Reims. And wow! There is no words to describe that. The most famous of all of the sculptures on the outside of the church is l'ange au sourire, - the smiling angel. And truely. The sculpures are all amazing. They are all made around 1250, - and they were the first sculpures that actually had facial expressions and body language. And this lady SOES seem to have a little snicker around her mouth, - looking at the clerical guy next to her? But.... *more*
