I haven't had Massive Mike for long. I really like him. I was told how to keep MM from flying up in the air when you choose "drop to ground." But the more I look at MM, the more it looks like his left leg is shorter than the right? Here is a render of the default pose that comes "out of the box."

Well I'm not sure if you'll be able to see the picture. I saw one of those pesky bandwidth alert images instead. Here is a picture of MM after I did the zero figure thing to keep him from flying. So what gives? Does MM have one leg longer than the other? Or do we need to get him fixed?

I can't be certain without a virtual yardstick, but I think they're the same length. In your first pic, one leg is positioned a bit further back than the other, and the perspective makes it seem shorter. In the second pic, he simply has his leg lifted off the ground at an angle.

With the IK off and zeroed, Master Massive achieves true plumb.

Ron: Could you share how to keep Mike from taking a flying leap when you choose "drop to floor?" I've got Massive Mike and never did get the heads up on that one. Thanks...

Here is a quote from the link to Massive Mike's home site: "If Massive Mike Jumps when you "Drop Figure To Floor" Make sure he is selected and BODY select the joint editor from the Window drop down, center will be your only option since you've only select BODY right! Click Zero Figure. Close Joint Editor and re-save him." The directions leave out a few things, I think....You should go to that link and check it out.

Hi...I'd really like to know the origins of those clothing/textures you two are using in those pics...I've been looking for something like that for a long time.

I'm using the Michael 2 "Standard Res" Texture for his skin. The "bodysuits" are instant bodysuits available here in Poser Free Stuff. I forget what they're called. They are MAT poses. You click on them to apply. That way they work on ALL Michaels.

Thanks for asking about the textures. (I'm blushin')

Right now I'm uploading the Knight stuff, but after that's done, I'll put up the jeans and sweaters and T's.

The only problem with Massive Mike are the foot and toe morph channels, as in "none." But you can take the Michael morph base CR2 that will be offered and copy over the Massive Mike morphs.

Poor guy had been naked for so long, it'd be great to have some clothes for him, so he can finally cover his wahoo :)

I saw the musclebound mike armor but not massive mike

ENGELKEN posted Thu, 06 December 2001 at 6:46 AM

Rather than do one each for Massive Mike, BodyBuilder Mike, and so forth, I just did a basic morph CR2 for Michael. You will have to move the morphs over with something like morphmanager. The reason Musclebound Mike has his own file is that he already has the extra channels built in and the morphs don't have to be added. eng

ENGELKEN: Where can one find the terrific jeans, sweater and T textures that you show above. If you're in the process of uploading, disregard this impatient request...I'll wait for 'em. It's just that there's such a dearth of good stuff for Mike, that when things like these come up, ya want 'em...like...yesterday...ya know what I mean?

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what you do with the imminent Mike 2.
