Some of you guys have seen this pic already, but still.. ..In local developent labs contest, I got 8th place with this pic. Subject was "buddies". ...I know, subject is bit far, but pic is nice. This is juuuust slightly modified version, but pic in contest had to be original. I won 5 rolls of expensive film(dont remember the brand), 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 ASA. What the heck I'm gonna shoot with 1600??? .n

Man, I've used T-Max 3200, now stop complaining ;) It would be great for a low light concert, with only a few colored lights. Anyway, congrats!

Congratulations..! :)

Now, for the 1600 ISO...
If I was able to afford those films while I was doing photography extensively at those great faculty times(4-5 years back from now), I wouldn't have to push process HP5+ (Ilford, 400 ISO) to 3200, and also 6400 ISO regularly (Using Ilford Microphen, and going against the manifacturer's advices).
'HP5+'es were provided by the photo-club of the university that I was attending then; I was a student with not so much spare money to buy those fancy brand - fancy ISO films...and I was an obsessed photographer for available light, especially in worn out and not-used buildings and in the hospital operation theatres.
And, those grains...
Sometimes it seemed to me that I was only shooting and printing images just for going for those grains, and what the photography tried to tell was of secondary importance...

Well, have fun with all those valuable films... :)
