Subject: where can i get apps to make 3-d objects like cloths and such?

i find something called wings 3-d, but it does not work with windows2k very well. so i was wonering if anyone could give me some links to some FREE apps i can use. and even if they are not free i guess it would help in my search. thankyou

Check out the AMAPI site. AMAPI 4.5 is free and is very good.

All my models are produced with a combination of Poser and Anim8tor... work through the tutorials first and you'll soon get the hang of it. Good luck.

I highly recommend Blender. It is FREE and with a obj importexport Python file you can use it with Poser and Bryce. It also imports and exports other file formats. Well worth your time to check it out. http://www.blender3d.com/

Actually, Wings 3D works very well in Win2K. Here's an image I'm working on. Both the shell and hominid were modeled in Wings.

abotu wings 3d, i jsut could not get it to work, and really jsut gave up. i might try more because jval's pic looks really good. thanks again
