This is like two cans of paint mixing together. Really neat. Do you take 8354 pics with digital, or just shoot to film? What is the rate of really succesful shots about these kind of pics? .n

Thanks guys. The technique is: 1. prowl around shallow streambeds, 1 to 3 hours before dark on sunny days. 2. Take pictures. Success rate is probably 1 or 2 in 40, in part because you are matching shutter speeds to wave speeds, and still trying to have enough DOF whilst shooting oblique to a surface. Don't be afraid of filters. 3. Photoshop to taste. The only rules is to use no rules; do as you damned well please. This was cropped, contrast masked, heavily sharpened, and had levels and curves and saturation shoved around with gay abandon. Antoonio--I shoot with digital the way I always wanted to shoot with film. There is no penalty for experimentation. I have recently considered going back to film because: a. I know more about what I am doing after shooting an estimated 12000 frames this year, and b. the Canon EOS 1v is reputedly an exceptionally nice camera. But it ain't happenin' anyway. Sue 4. When you like it, stop. Sue
