Boy-o-boy! Now we've got Wish Lists!!! Renderosity just keeps getting better and better! But (you knew this was coming) ... what about the speed? Unfortunately, that is getting worse and worse. Shopping and heavy duty browsing (especially shopping) can be very painfully slow. (I have a T1, so don't blame my connection.) I realize that all these new features (like Wish Lists and many of the other wonderful enhancements) are all contributing to this slowdown (not to mention, probably, a lot of new members), but something needs to be done before it gets so bad it isn't worth the effort. (I know it might be expensive to fix the speed issue ... but it can also be expensive NOT to fix the speed issue, if you know what I mean.) Is anything being done or planned to make things speedious (as they say on -- or underwater on -- Naboo) once again??
Thanks!!

Yes, we should be installing more memory this weekend which will help with ou server issues seen this past week. As you mentioned, with the increase in members online we are experiencing growth problems. we are working to keep with our growth spurts. yvette

Excellent! I really like to see the number of members climb 'cause I want Renderosity to be around for a long, long time. Since I spend a lot of time browsing Renderosity, I really notice when it slows down. I hope this memory issue will do the trick! Good luck! bit

Hi Yvette, Unfortunately, the connection is still slow, have you given thought to putting the store on a different server? Just a thought, Jack

The new memory has made a huge improvement, but we have had a rash of gallery leaches running really nasty scripts against the servers. I am working to filter them out as quickly as I can, but sometimes they slide by me for a couple of hours. I would be interested in getting a traceroute from you to see what the hop times are like. If you would like, you can email that to negentropicman@renderosity.com. Thanks.
