I used to be a Yosemite climber (and still have my gear). That picture gives me the willies because he is in the wrong position to stick to the surface of the building. Effective as art, but without traction it will be a long slide down the curtainwall. (The soles of his feet and palms of the hands ought to be flat against the building, with his butt in midair.) Well I also think Spiderman would have some trouble sticking to glass or steel, Being that he has tiny little spider claws in his skin, I doubt these claws can puncture steel or glass. the movie is giving him biological web shooters I think this is really good because his sweat would have to be sticky to help him stick to steel and glass. possible in his hands and feet.
