I am considering getting either Vue4 or Bryce, and am working with the demos of each of them until I make a decision which is best for me. I really like the interface of Vue4 over Bryce, but it crashes too much. Sometimes during loading of some of the scenes available from the freebie section here, and somethimes during rendering. I am using windows ME, and an Athlon 750. Is it crashing because there are elements that didn't come with the 30 day trial or is the windows version just unstable (or just the demo). It is not the OpenGL stuff (I tried turning that off, and it didn't help), and it will crash even if I start a scene from scratch (with no objects except mountains and sunsets and stuff) I really like the idea of using Vue, because my primary interest is in rendering scenes with poser 4 figures in them. Bryce can do this, but at the cost of a fair amount of time setting up the transparencies and whatnot. Just curious if someone has any suggestions to working with it to avoid these periodic crashes. Often they require rebooting the machine before I can get view to start again.
