Subject: how the hell do i get rid of this!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!!

im using photoshop 5.5, and i don't know how i turned this damn grid on, and i can't get the damn thing to go away now, its there all the time. PLEASE HELP

Hehehe ... it does get confusing at times. I'm using version 6 and in that version you go to:

View - Show - Grid

check mark beside grid means it's on
clicking it again will take it off

I believe in 5.5 it's basically the same .. if not a check mark there is a hide grid and show grid in the View menu.

damn i sound like a newbie here, but thanks in photoshop 5.5 its in view Hide/Show grid

Sorry, couldn't help the Hehehe. Been there, done that. I have so many graphics programs now that at times I can't remember the menus of each. At the beginning it all looked so foreign. Actually my fingers know more than I do. I can not think of the command but my fingers know where to find it.
