One way: Make everything that you want to move a separate prop. Import each one into Poser. If you parent each prop so that they are ultimately all joined, you can save them as a single prop file. The texture assignments can be a bit tedious with this method, but each sub can be altered using the Joint Editor and each axis moved to the logical location; then the rotation channels can be used for your movements and trans channels for sliding. Unwanted rotations can be locked at max/min = 0 and using EditPad, the unused channels made not to show.

Thanks guys, I will give it a try and let you know how I make out. Oh and it is made to be a Hell in a Cell but it can double as just an ordinary cage too.

Alright, I played around using the joint paramaters and have every section able to open in two ways, and the door swings open. If I save as one figure I lose all the joints and it becomes one solid figure instead of the individual parts. Props I would have to do all individually and I don't want to have people have to load 24 different parts for one steel cage. Can some one point me in the right direction?
