i bought 3d exploration on line which i have told others in the past not to do,get the cd to make things easier well anyways i downloaded it then i went and got the reg number i installed everything then when i went to copy and paste the number from the notepad file to the reg box it wont let me do it i can copy the number(of which is ten million caps and lowercase and numbers long)but the little box thats supposed to take the paste wont do it from the mouse is there a way to do it from the keyboard? is there a font that has the proper letters and numbers so if i cant copy and paste it that i can at least tell what the heck the letters actually are in both apps? i tried to do it manually but when i read the letters there are some that are the same like a lowercase l and a cap I,sometimes they are the same thanks for any help with this!

Windows I presume? ctrl+v is paste (ctrl+x=cut, ctrl+c=copy)

Ctrl-V is the keyboard shortcut for "paste". You should probably click once in the blank, then hit ctrl-V.

I just bought it myself Friday, and had the same problem. I solved it by copying the gobbly goop of numbers a little at a time. Copy say the first ten digits, paste them into the registration box, then the next ten and so on. Worked for me ... Spectre

I've had this be the case with some applications. I am not sure why, but the password field occasionally will not take information from the Clipboard. You simply have to type it in. If you are confused about zeros and o's and things which I often am I find it helpful to have the computer's text-to-speech module read the serial out for me. While the application's register box won't take the clipboard, I've never had this be the case with a text editor. Good luck!

Yup, the 3D Exploration serial number is a trick to cut and paste. The trick is not to select all of the lines at one time. Select one line of text at a time and paste it in; then the next, and so on. It should take then.
