There's an ape character for Michael in Free Stuff. Of course, this won't help if you don't have Michael. By the way, the Marketplace here at Renderosity accepts checks and money orders.

yeah, i've seen the ape character, makes me wish i had michael ><; it accepts other forms of payment? sweet! well, it's time for me to shoping i think ^^! by the way, can anyone tell me how i create .cr2 and .rsr files? most tutorials confuse the crap outta me...

Well, once you've got your character set up in Poser the way you want it (textures, morphs, etc.), you save it back to the Library palette. Choose the category/folder you want the character saved in, click the Add to Library icon (+ sign) at the bottom of the palette, name it, and click OK. The character will be saved as a .cr2 file, and an .rsr thumbnail image will be created for visual reference. If you have Pro Pack installed, the thumbnail will be a .png file instead. The thumbnail matches whatever is in your document window at the time you save. Getting the thumbnail exactly the way you want it is something of an art in and of itself. Fortunately, there's an easy way to create .rsr files now. yarp has an .rsr converter plugin for P3dO Explorer. You can create a thumbnail in a paint program, save it to .png format, and let the converter turn it into an .rsr.

Whoops, here's the link to yarp's site, where you can download P3dO Explorer. Be sure to get the plugin pack also; it's a separate download from the main program. SENO Software

There is a free orang utan there. Maybe that will help?duanemoody posted Wed, 26 December 2001 at 2:05 AM
That's not a free orangutan, that's an update file for people who already owned a particular orangutan model from another site.

I can't download Godzilla in this site http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/tyrell/769/poser.html
ScottA posted Wed, 26 December 2001 at 1:15 PM
Most of the files are not available. FortuneCity keeps deleting them because they are too large and draw too much bandwidth. I keep the site up only because I'm looking for work. And I have lots of resumes floating around with my web site on it, so people can see examples of what I can do with Web sites and 3Dmodeling software. If you want something from the site. E-mail me and I'll send it to you. ScottA scottasba@aol.com

...but I was correct in stating that the update orang file doesn't contain a complete character, right?
