I have created a new head that I have attached to the Nude Male Poser 3 model. It works fine. The only problems are the morphs that I have created. I've exported the figure to 3D Studio Max 3 and created the morph targets there. The vertices match up in scale; but the head slightly moves up when I use the open mouth morph target for the new head in Poser. I didn't scale it or even move it before exporting in Max. I just adjusted the vertices and collapsed the stack. I have no problem doing morphs with original poser figures. What's the problem?

Your new Head mesh and the MTs don't match up in 3d space. Either the MTs were moved up or the Head was moved down.

Thanks for responding so quickly. This is my first time on the forum. Nothing has been moved. The only things that have been moved are the vertices in edit mesh mode. The mesh itself is still in the same place. I replaced the head with my new head in poser and then saved it to the library. I then exported the whole thing to Max. Would it have something to do with it not being a saved figure in the geometries folder of Poser 4 (RSR or Obj)? That's how I make morphs for the original figures that came with Poser.

There is an offset between the figure as loaded from the library and the OBJ file in Geometeries. I always work on the OBJ file from geometeries. Regards PhilC

I bet that's the problem. I need to work out of the geometries folder. Thank you so much for the helpful tips. I'll let you guys know what's up.
