Heh, Pokey, he was mentioned in Mesh Magick's list above... Yes, his voice was incredibly deep and rough.

You all may be interested in my fan site for Patty Maloney, the voice of the animated Darla Hood in 1982-84. Here is one of nine stills from a Little Rascals cartoon videotape; it may help in establishing proportions and designing clothes. Follow the link to see eight more stills. I'm still waiting for my Canadian benefactor to provide an AVI movie, which I intend to convert to QuickTime format.melanie posted Thu, 27 December 2001 at 8:33 PM
Froggy was one of the original Our Gamg characters. I suspect, because of his voice, that he was a very samll adult playing the role. I remember him when I was a little kid back in the 50's and those episodes were very old even then. Probably the 1930's and 1940's. I loved them. Melanie

Froggy was in the orginal and in the movie version too, Im no sure how they got the voices to sound right in the recent movie but it was a neat trick.

It could have a real Norman Rockwell quality. None of those spoiled rich kids. Here's the address of the REAL little Rascals. http://www.ramseyltd.com/rascals/ Man I feel old now. LOL Mark

Mesh Magick, I remember reading years ago that Petey was a putbull. Obviously, the ring around his eye was a makeup job. But the pooch in this photo looks like a clone of the original. Melanie
